Janice F. Mulligan is a hard-working, accomplished and compassionate medical malpractice and personal injury attorney who has dedicated her career to helping people since she founded this law firm in 1986. Nationally recognized as an outstanding injury attorney and one of the most respected medical malpractice attorneys in California, she has been selected as a top lawyer by multiple peer-reviewed organizations. Proud to be born and raised in Chicago, Ms. Mulligan credits her success to the amazing mentors and professors who have educated her at the University of San Diego (B.A., 1978), Oxford University, St. Anthony’s College, (1976-77), University of San Diego School of Law (J.D. 1981, Order of the Coif), and the Trial Lawyers College (2012).

Ms. Mulligan lectures extensively both domestically and internationally. As an outgrowth of her representation of people in a variety of cases and her national and international lectures, she has also gained extensive experience in related issues involving telemedicine/telehealth, medical privacy, medical ethics and the Affordable Care Act. She has a particular interest in the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act (CMIA). Ms. Mulligan has a deep passion for the practice of law, and a unique ability to articulate people’s cases in a way that resonates with jurors and arbitrators.
